Barrett Schmidt, LPC, Temp.
At a fork in the road? Do you have a vision of a better future but struggle with believing that you can arrive there? Or have you experienced something in your past that you can not shake? Have you noticed feelings of anxiety or depression becoming a heavy burden or constraint in your life following the aftermath of the COVID pandemic? If you identify with any of these scenarios, I'd warmly suggest setting up a meeting with me or a fellow member of the Integrate team. As a Mental Health Counselor, my life's work revolves around fostering a sanctuary where individuals can explore their inner thoughts and understand their self-dialogue in a safe environment.
My areas of expertise involve Trauma Recovery, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Dialectical Behavior Therapy to address Emotion Regulation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic strategies. My other areas of experience include working with clients addressing codependency, hallucinations, addictions and spiritual guidance.
I have experience treating individuals that come from a variety of age groups and demographics. I implement trained behavioral techniques as a mental health professional while intentionally integrating each individual’s particular cultural background, values and family history. My aim as a Mental Health Counselor is to provide you with the best tools available so that you can achieve the goals you set out for yourself through this process. I’d be thrilled to support you on your journey!
